Position: Mortgage Loan Officer
Job Description:
As a Mortgage Loan Officer at First American National Bank, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, developing relationships with potential borrowers, and guiding clients through the loan application process. You will work closely with clients to determine their financial needs, discuss loan options, and ensure a smooth and efficient loan closing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of real estate loans
- Develop relationships with real estate agents, builders, and financial professionals
- Guide clients through the loan application process
- Analyze prospective loan clients’ finances to determine loan suitability
- Ensure all loan documentation is complete and accurate
- Stay current on industry regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must be licensed as a Mortgage Loan Officer
