Job Description
As an Abstracter at Fox Hunt, you will be responsible for researching and examining public records to produce accurate and comprehensive title reports. You will work closely with our team of abstracters, title agents, and attorneys to ensure that all title commitments meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on property records to determine ownership, encumbrances, and other relevant information
- Prepare title reports, commitments, and other documents in accordance with company standards
- Identify and resolve any title issues that may arise during the course of a transaction
- Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with best practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an abstracter or similar role in the title industry
- Proficiency in researching public records and interpreting legal documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with title insurance software is a plus
