Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator

Job Description

As a Community Outreach Coordinator at Freed Community Center, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission. You will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage with community members, build partnerships with local organizations, and promote our programs and services. This role requires a passion for community engagement, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute outreach plans to increase awareness of Freed Community Center within the community
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, local businesses, and organizations
• Create and distribute promotional materials to advertise upcoming events, programs, and services
• Coordinate and attend community events, meetings, and fairs to represent Freed Community Center
• Evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with staff to ensure alignment between outreach efforts and organizational goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as community development, social work, or communications
• 2+ years of experience in community outreach, event planning, or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Passion for serving the community and promoting social change
