We are Hiring: Pet Boarding & Kennel Attendant

At Fritz Kennel of Houston, LLC, we are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Pet Boarding & Kennel Attendant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who love animals and are committed to providing exceptional care for pets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all boarding pets
• Feed, water, and administer medication to pets according to their specific needs
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Engage in playtime and walks with the pets to keep them active and happy
• Keep kennels and common areas clean and sanitized
• Provide grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming
• Assist in the intake and discharge process of boarding pets

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with animals, preferably in a boarding or kennel setting
• Passion for animals and a strong sense of responsibility towards their care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and walking dogs of various sizes
• Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a plus
