Job Title: Lighting Consultant

Job Description:

As a Lighting Consultant at Gandy 2 Lighting Design G2LD, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from luxury residential homes to large-scale commercial buildings. You will collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to develop lighting concepts that enhance the overall design aesthetic and functionality of the space. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting site visits and assessments to understand project requirements
• Creating lighting design proposals and presentations
• Collaborating with the design team to integrate lighting into the overall design concept
• Specifying lighting fixtures and equipment
• Managing project timelines and budgets
• Providing guidance on lighting control systems and sustainability practices
• Attending client meetings and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lighting design or related field
• Strong knowledge of lighting principles, fixtures, and controls
• Proficiency in lighting design software such as AGI32, Dialux, or Relux
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable lighting practices is a plus
