We are currently hiring for the following position:

Substance Abuse Counselor

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? Do you have experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction? If so, we want to hear from you! As a Substance Abuse Counselor at Gateway Foundation Inc, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for each client
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs and goals
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in their recovery journey
• Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
• Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field
• Current state licensure or certification as a substance abuse counselor
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of addiction treatment
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for helping individuals achieve lasting recovery
