Are you passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment? Do you have experience in the scrap metal industry or are looking to start a career in recycling? Gessner Scrap Metal Recycling is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. We have several exciting positions available in our Scrap Metals and Recycling Centers categories.

Position: Scrap Metals Sorter

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Scrap Metals Sorters. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and categorizing various types of scrap metal materials. Key responsibilities include:

• Sorting scrap metal materials according to type and quality
• Removing contaminants and non-recyclable items from scrap metal
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Operating basic sorting equipment and tools

If you have a keen eye for detail and are passionate about recycling, this position may be perfect for you. No prior experience is required, as we provide on-the-job training.

Position: Recycling Center Operator

We are also seeking Recycling Center Operators to join our team. As a Recycling Center Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our recycling facilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating machinery and equipment to process scrap metal materials
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment to maximize efficiency
• Assisting customers with drop-off and pick-up of recyclable materials
