Job Description:
As a Psychiatrist at Gina Jamal, MD, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care to our diverse patient population. You will work closely with Dr. Jamal and other members of our team to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Bipolar disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Substance use disorders
You will be responsible for conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medication, and providing ongoing therapy and support to ensure the well-being of our patients. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare providers, participate in case conferences, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our practice.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license in the state of California
- Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in private practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
