Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and help us further our mission. We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Music Director

As the Music Director at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, you will play a crucial role in leading our congregation in worship and praise. We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about music and has a deep love for God. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a choir, working with musicians, and coordinating music for church services and special events.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the church choir during weekly services
• Select and arrange music for worship services
• Coordinate rehearsals and work with musicians to ensure a high standard of musical performance
• Collaborate with the Pastor and other church leaders to plan special music events
• Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing the music ministry

Qualifications:

• Proficient in playing an instrument (piano or organ preferred)
• Experience leading a church choir or music ministry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• A deep commitment to the Christian faith and a heart for worship
