Position: Assistant Pastor

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Pastor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a committed follower of Jesus Christ, dedicated to serving others and sharing the gospel with the community. This individual will work closely with our Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, support various ministries, and engage in pastoral care for our congregation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Pastor in leading worship services, including preaching and teaching
• Provide pastoral care and counseling to church members in times of need
• Engage in outreach and evangelism efforts to connect with the local community
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to coordinate and execute church programs and events
• Participate in committee meetings, staff meetings, and other church-related activities

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited theological seminary or equivalent experience
• Ordination or willingness to become ordained in the Baptist tradition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Passion for social justice and community engagement
