We are Hiring: Garbage Collection Associate

Job Description

As a Garbage Collection Associate at Greenbelt Landfill, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of waste in a safe and efficient manner. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our landfill site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate garbage collection vehicles to pick up waste from designated locations
• Ensure proper disposal of waste according to company guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report any safety hazards or issues to the management team
• Assist with general landfill operations as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in garbage collection or related field preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of waste management practices
