We are Hiring:

Guardian Angel Funeral Home is currently seeking an experienced and empathetic Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in funeral services and a genuine passion for helping families navigate the funeral planning process with care and sensitivity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with families to make funeral arrangements and discuss their needs and wishes
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the funeral service, including coordinating with clergy, cemetery staff, and other vendors
• Arrange for the preparation of the deceased, including embalming and dressing
• Assist families with selecting caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise
• Provide grief support and guidance to families throughout the funeral process
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and permits are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage and maintain the funeral home facilities and equipment
• Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote the funeral home

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed Funeral Director
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of funeral industry practices and regulations
• Valid Funeral Director license in the state of [insert state]
• Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science or related field preferred
