Job Title: Veterinary Ophthalmologist
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology and a passion for working with animals. Responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions in dogs, cats, and other animals
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for various ophthalmic diseases
- Performing surgical procedures such as cataract removal and eyelid surgery
- Collaborating with other veterinary specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educating pet owners on proper eye care and treatment options
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with all veterinary regulations
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Board certification in Veterinary Ophthalmology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary ophthalmology practice
- Strong surgical skills and proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
