Job Title: Veterinary Ophthalmologist

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology and a passion for working with animals. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions in dogs, cats, and other animals
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for various ophthalmic diseases
  • Performing surgical procedures such as cataract removal and eyelid surgery
  • Collaborating with other veterinary specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients
  • Educating pet owners on proper eye care and treatment options
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with all veterinary regulations

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Board certification in Veterinary Ophthalmology
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary ophthalmology practice
  • Strong surgical skills and proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
