Position: Concrete Contractors

Job Description:

GV Steels is currently seeking experienced Concrete Contractors to join our growing team. As a Concrete Contractor, you will be responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete for various construction projects. You will work closely with our project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning them, setting up forms, and ensuring proper insulation
• Pour concrete into forms and spread and level it using various tools
• Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing and edging them according to specifications
• Monitor the curing process and ensure that concrete is setting properly
• Perform regular maintenance on concrete tools and equipment
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Concrete Contractor or similar role
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
