Job Description

As a Notary Public with Hatten Notary Signing Services, you will be responsible for notarizing a variety of legal documents, including but not limited to deeds, affidavits, contracts, and powers of attorney. You will travel to clients’ homes, offices, or other agreed-upon locations to authenticate signatures, administer oaths, and verify identities.

Responsibilities

• Verify the identity of signers and ensure they understand the documents they are signing
• Administer oaths and affirmations as required
• Certify the authenticity of signatures on legal documents
• Keep accurate records of notarial acts performed
• Follow all state-specific notary laws and regulations

Requirements

• Must be a commissioned Notary Public in the state where you will be performing notarial acts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
