Position: Wheelchair Technician

We are currently seeking a Wheelchair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, servicing, and repairing wheelchairs for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble wheelchairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wheelchairs
• Inspect and test wheelchairs to ensure quality and safety
• Assist customers with wheelchair fittings and adjustments
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in wheelchair assembly and repair (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
