Job Title: Permit Technician

Job Description

As a Permit Technician at Houston Building Permits, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with the permit application process. You will be responsible for reviewing permit applications, ensuring compliance with building codes, and issuing permits in a timely manner. In addition, you will provide support to customers by answering questions, providing guidance on the permit process, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Review permit applications for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Issue permits in a timely manner
• Assist customers with questions and provide guidance on the permit process
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the permit application process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in permit processing or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
