Job Title: Home Automation Technician

As a Home Automation Technician at Houston Custom Installers, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and troubleshooting home automation systems for residential and commercial clients. This includes smart home devices, lighting controls, security systems, audio/video systems, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure home automation systems according to client specifications
• Program and integrate smart home devices to work seamlessly together
• Provide on-site training and support to clients on the use of their home automation systems
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure successful project completion
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home automation installation and programming
• Strong knowledge of smart home technology and integration protocols
• Certifications such as CEDIA, Crestron, Control4, or similar are a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
