Job Description:

As a Flooring Contractor at Houston Floor Installation Services & More, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials, such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their flooring needs are met and exceed their expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and estimate flooring materials needed for each project
• Prepare subfloors and ensure they are even and properly prepped for installation
• Install flooring materials according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
• Inspect finished work for quality and address any issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in flooring installation
• Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
