Position: Mental Health Services Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health needs and progress
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and other therapeutic activities
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Texas
• Prior experience in a mental health setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges
