Position: Hematologist

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Academic Medicine Associates – Hematology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating a wide range of hematologic disorders, as well as a commitment to providing patient-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat patients with various hematologic conditions, including anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and clotting disorders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Participate in clinical research studies and contribute to advancements in the field of Hematology
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Hematology
• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license in the state of Texas
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Hematology best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
