Position: Dental Assistant

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant at Houston Oral & Dental Implant Center, you will play a vital role in assisting our oral and maxillofacial surgeons and implant dentists in providing patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting during surgical procedures, including dental implant placement and oral surgeries
– Taking and developing dental x-rays
– Sterilizing and preparing instruments for procedures
– Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
– Maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent work experience
– X-ray certification
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a team
