About Us:

Hu’s Garden Chinese Restaurant is a family-owned and operated establishment located in the heart of Chinatown. We pride ourselves on serving authentic Chinese cuisine made with the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. Our restaurant has been a staple in the community for over 20 years, and we are committed to providing a welcoming and friendly dining experience for all of our guests.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Position: Line Cook

Location: Chinatown, New York

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Chinese dishes following our restaurant’s recipes
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Ensure all food preparation meets the highest quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Chinese or Asian restaurant preferred
• Knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Food Handler’s certification is a plus
