Position: Family Counselor

Are you a compassionate and skilled counselor looking to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community? Iglesia de Cristo en Houston is seeking a dedicated Family Counselor to join our team. As a church that values the well-being of our congregation, we are committed to providing top-notch counseling services to support families and individuals in overcoming challenges and enhancing their mental and emotional health.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual counseling sessions for members of the congregation
• Offer marriage and family counseling sessions to support healthy relationships
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client
• Collaborate with other members of the counseling team to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas
• Experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling techniques and interventions
