Position: Laser Vision Correction Surgeon
Location: Multiple locations across the United States
Job Description
International Eye Care Laser Center is seeking a skilled and passionate Laser Vision Correction Surgeon to join our team. As a Laser Vision Correction Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing laser refractive surgeries to correct vision in patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in LASIK, PRK, and other refractive surgeries, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and determine eligibility for laser vision correction procedures
- Discuss treatment options and expected outcomes with patients
- Perform laser refractive surgeries, including LASIK and PRK
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery preferred
- Experience in performing LASIK, PRK, and other refractive surgeries
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
