Position: Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at Jim McAuley Compressed Air Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects related to our compressed air systems. You will work closely with our team of engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your main tasks will include:

– Designing and implementing civil engineering projects, including foundations, structures, and utilities
– Conducting site investigations and surveys to determine project feasibility
– Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
– Developing project specifications and cost estimates
– Ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations
– Monitoring construction progress and providing regular updates to project stakeholders

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
– Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
– 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the construction industry
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software
– Strong project management skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
