Johnson Funeral Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a crematory operator. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring respectful and professional cremation services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cremation equipment in accordance with regulations and company guidelines
• Monitor and maintain the crematory equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare cremation chambers and assist with the placement and retrieval of remains
• Adhere to strict safety and security protocols at all times
• Assist with the proper handling and processing of cremated remains

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a crematory or funeral home preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in sensitive situations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Funeral Planning Assistant Position

We are also looking for a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a funeral planning assistant. In this role, you will work closely with families to help them make arrangements for their loved one’s funeral services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with families to discuss their wishes and provide guidance on available services
• Assist with arranging visitations, memorial services, and burials
• Coordinate with vendors, such as florists and caterers, to ensure all details are in place
• Handle paperwork and documentation related to funeral arrangements
• Provide support and assistance to grieving families during the planning process

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in funeral planning or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Empathetic and compassionate demeanor
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

Funeral Director Position

If you have experience in funeral services and are looking to take on a leadership role, we have an opportunity for you to join our team as a funeral director. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Funeral director license and/or certification required
