Job Description

As a Floor Materials Specialist at Jr Floor Sanding, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and managing the inventory of floor materials used in our projects. You will work closely with our team of floor sanding experts to ensure that we have the right materials on hand to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase high-quality floor materials, including hardwood planks, sandpaper, finishes, and adhesives
• Manage inventory levels and ensure that adequate supplies are available for ongoing projects
• Collaborate with project managers to determine material requirements for upcoming jobs
• Inspect materials upon delivery to ensure they meet our quality standards
• Keep detailed records of all material transactions and update inventory systems accordingly
• Stay informed about new flooring products and trends in the industry
• Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms for bulk purchases

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the flooring industry
• Strong knowledge of different types of floor materials and their respective uses
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
