Position: Diesel Engine Technician

Location: Anytown, USA

Job Description

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, following manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex engine problems, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment
• Assemble and disassemble diesel engines, ensuring proper installation and functionality
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure engines meet performance standards
• Keep detailed records of service and maintenance tasks performed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with diesel engines in a professional setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Certification from a recognized technical school or program is a plus
