Position: Child Care Assistant

Job Description:

As a Child Care Assistant at Kids Galaxy Montessori School, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teachers and ensuring the well-being and development of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children
– Supervising and engaging with children during playtime, mealtime, and outdoor activities
– Supporting the implementation of Montessori curriculum activities and lessons
– Helping to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
– Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
– Assisting with students’ hygiene and daily routines

Requirements:

To be considered for the Child Care Assistant position, you must meet the following requirements:

– A passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow
– A high school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not required
– Willingness to undergo a background check and obtain necessary certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
