Job Title: Child Care Provider

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to join our team at Kinsmen Lutheran Church. This position is a vital part of our ministry as we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in our church community.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children during church services, events, and programs
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons
• Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
• Maintain a clean and organized child care area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patient, compassionate, and nurturing personality
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Must pass background check

Hours:

This position is part-time, with hours primarily on Sundays during church services. Additional hours may be available for special events and programs.

Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team at Kinsmen Lutheran Church. This position plays a key role in providing a quality early childhood education experience for children in our community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
• Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Monitor children’s progress and communicate with parents
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Early childhood education degree or related field
• Previous experience working with young children
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood education
• Positive, energetic, and patient attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must pass background check

Hours:

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
