Position Available: Math Teacher

Job Overview

Labay Middle School is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Math teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging and rigorous math curriculum
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and achievement
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics education or related field
• Texas teaching certification in Math
• Demonstrated experience teaching math at the middle school level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
