Job Title: Caregiver

Job Description:

As a Caregiver at Lac Hong Adult Day Care, you will be responsible for assisting older adults with their daily living activities, providing personal care, and ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work closely with our clients to develop personalized care plans and implement activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor clients’ health and well-being and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in eldercare or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR
