Position: Youth Director

Job Description

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging youth programs and activities
• Create a safe and inclusive environment for youth to grow in their faith
• Develop relationships with youth and their families
• Coordinate with church leadership to align youth programs with the overall mission of the church
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth activities
• Stay current on trends in youth ministry and implement new ideas to engage youth

Qualifications

• Passion for working with youth and helping them grow in their faith
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in youth ministry is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers
• Commitment to upholding the values and beliefs of the United Methodist Church
