We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of Optician:

Job Title: Optician

Location: Downtown, City, State

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Job Description:

The Optician plays a crucial role in our practice by assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, exceptional communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, prescription, and lifestyle
• Taking accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear
• Ordering and tracking inventory of frames and lenses
• Adjusting and repairing eyeglasses as needed
• Educating patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Optician preferred
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and fitting techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Team player with a positive attitude
