Position: Elder Law Attorney

Job Description

• Provide legal advice and representation to elderly clients in matters related to estate planning, long-term care planning, Medicaid planning, guardianship, and more.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other legal documents to meet clients’ needs and goals.
• Guide clients through the probate process and assist with estate administration and asset distribution.
• Handle complex legal issues involving elder abuse, nursing home neglect, and financial exploitation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar with a valid license to practice law.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Elder Law and Estate Planning.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with elderly clients.
