Position: Criminal Law Attorney

Job Description:

As a Criminal Law Attorney at the Law Office of Joseph Ruiz, P, you will be responsible for representing clients who are facing drug charges and other criminal offenses. You will handle all aspects of their case, from initial consultation to trial, and work diligently to secure the best possible outcome for each client.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis
• Developing a strategic defense for each client
• Negotiating with prosecutors for plea deals
• Representing clients in court proceedings
• Providing guidance and counsel to clients throughout the legal process
• Ensuring that all legal documents are filed accurately and on time

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal law, specifically drug charges
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
