Position: Criminal Law Attorney

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Criminal Law Attorney to join our team at the Law Offices of Q. Tate Williams, P.C. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal law and a passion for defending individuals facing criminal charges. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of criminal cases, from minor misdemeanors to serious felonies.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in various criminal proceedings, including arraignments, hearings, trials, and appeals
• Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare strong defense strategies for clients
• Negotiate with prosecutors to reach favorable plea agreements on behalf of clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, judges, and other legal professionals
• Keep abreast of changes in criminal law and court procedures

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing criminal law
• Strong advocacy skills and a passion for criminal defense
• Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
