Position Available: Head Pastry Chef
Location: New York City, NY
Responsibilities:
Lead the pastry department in creating and executing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
Develop new and innovative pastry recipes and products
Train and mentor pastry team members to maintain high food quality and presentation standards
Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive menus
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Head Pastry Chef in a high-volume bakery or restaurant
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and trends
Ability to lead and inspire a team of pastry professionals
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
