Position: Financial Planning Consultant

Job Description

As a Financial Planning Consultant at Legg Mason, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services to our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situation, and develop customized financial plans to help them achieve their objectives. This will involve analyzing clients’ financial data, evaluating their investment portfolios, and making recommendations for optimizing their financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analyses for clients to assess their current financial situation
• Develop personalized financial plans that align with clients’ goals and objectives
• Provide recommendations on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and other financial matters
• Review clients’ investment portfolios and make suggestions for optimizing asset allocation
• Monitor clients’ progress towards their financial goals and adjust their financial plans as needed
• Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in financial planning
• Collaborate with other members of the financial planning team to deliver superior client service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Excel
