We are Hiring: Social Service Coordinator

Living Word Fellowship Church is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Social Service Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those in our community who are in need of support and assistance. As a Social Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and implementing programs that address the social service needs of our congregation and the broader community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social service programs that align with the mission and values of Living Word Fellowship Church
• Assess the needs of individuals and families within the church and community
• Provide emotional support and guidance to those facing challenges
• Collaborate with other community organizations and agencies to maximize resources and support for those in need
• Coordinate outreach initiatives to connect with marginalized populations and provide assistance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
• Previous experience working in social services or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards those in need
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of community resources and support services
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
