Position: Freight Forwarding Specialist

Livingston International is currently seeking a talented and dynamic Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in customs brokerage and compliance. As a Freight Forwarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the shipment of goods across borders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from origin to destination
• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Prepare documentation for customs clearance

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and transportation management software
• Certification in freight forwarding or customs brokerage is a plus

Position: Customs Broker

We are also looking for motivated Customs Brokers to join our team. This role involves managing customs clearance for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all regulations and minimizing risks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit documentation for customs clearance
• Coordinate with government agencies and customs officials to facilitate the clearance process
• Provide guidance to clients on customs regulations and compliance
• Resolve any customs issues or delays efficiently
• Stay up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and trade policies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed customs broker
• Deep knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
