We are Hiring: Banquet Event Manager

Maggiano’s in Houston is currently seeking a Banquet Event Manager to join our team. The Banquet Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet events at our restaurant, from initial planning to execution. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all details of banquet events, including menu selection, seating arrangements, and decorations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure a successful event
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and serving team to ensure smooth execution of events
• Manage event logistics, including set-up, breakdown, and clean-up
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during events
• Manage event budgets and ensure profitability
• Work closely with the sales team to generate new business and promote banquet services

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event planning or banquet management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software
