Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess the overall health of patients’ eyes and detect any vision problems.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses based on the results of the eye exam.
  • Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school.
  • State licensure to practice optometry.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat a variety of eye conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
