Position: Mammography Technologist

Location: Spring, TX

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

As a Mammography Technologist at Memorial Hermann Breast Care Center, you will play a crucial role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Your primary responsibilities will include performing mammography exams, ensuring the highest quality images, and providing exceptional patient care throughout the screening process. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely results to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and procedures
• Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Assist radiologists during procedures and ensure proper documentation of findings
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout the screening process
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory requirements
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and training programs

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Mammography Technology program
• ARRT certification in Mammography required
• Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
