Position: Wound Care Nurse

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Memorial Hermann Wound Care – Texas Medical Center. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced wound care treatments and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and documenting wound status and patient progress
• Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans
• Performing wound care treatments such as debridement, dressing changes, and compression therapy
• Educating patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas
• Certification in Wound Care (CWCA, CWCN, or CWON) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in wound care or a related field
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
