Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer at Merichem Chemicals & Refinery, you will play a key role in developing and implementing new processes to improve the performance of our products and services. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers and scientists to analyze data, design experiments, and optimize chemical processes. Your work will directly impact the success of our company and our ability to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to develop innovative solutions for chemical processes
• Design and conduct experiments to test new processes and products
• Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new technologies
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in chemical process design and optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of process simulation software such as AspenTech or HYSYS
