Miguel Valderrabano, MD, PhD is a leading cardiology practice dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients in need of cardiac treatment. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiologist to join our team in providing top-notch cardiovascular care.
Position: Cardiologist
Location: Houston, Texas
Job Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with patients to assess their cardiac health and develop treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests to evaluate patients’ heart conditions
- Interpret test results and discuss findings with patients to explain their cardiac health status
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in cardiology research and treatment options
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about heart health and prevention
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Current state medical license
- PhD in a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in an outpatient cardiology setting is a plus
