Position: Employment Discrimination Attorney

Job Description:

As an Employment Discrimination Attorney at Miller Scamardi & Carraba, you will be responsible for representing clients in a variety of discrimination cases, including but not limited to race, gender, age, and disability discrimination. You will provide legal counsel, conduct research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court. In addition, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and advocate on their behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct client interviews and case evaluations
– Develop legal strategies and case theories
– Draft legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and briefs
– Conduct legal research and stay current on relevant laws and regulations
– Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings
– Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
– Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

Qualifications:

– JD from an accredited law school
– Admitted to practice law in the state
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employment Discrimination law
– Strong research and writing skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
