Millwork Specialist at Modern Wood Services

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, designers, and architects to understand project requirements
• Create detailed drawings and plans for custom millwork pieces
• Select appropriate wood materials and finishes for each project
• Use a variety of tools and machinery to fabricate wood components
• Assemble, sand, and finish millwork pieces to high standards
• Install finished millwork on-site as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in custom millwork fabrication
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings
• Knowledge of different wood types, finishes, and joinery techniques
• Ability to operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
